Privacy Policy

This is a small volunteer-run neighborhood website. We collect as little as possible, and we don’t sell, share, or monetize anything.

What we don’t do: no accounts, no cookies, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind. We can’t tell who visits this site or what pages they look at.

What you send us: everything on this site is submitted voluntarily through . Only send what you’re comfortable seeing published ~ submissions are reviewed by the site manager and then posted publicly, including any name, email address, phone number, or photo you include. Please don’t submit other people’s information, or photos of other people, without asking them first.

Other services: the neighborhood map loads map tiles from OpenStreetMap, and the site loads its mapping library from unpkg. Those requests reveal your IP address to them, the same as visiting any other website. The site itself is hosted on GitHub Pages. Anything you send through the submission form is handled by Netlify, who store it and pass it along to us by email.

Removing something: bulletin board posts come down after one month. Anything else ~ a photo, a business listing, an event, your name ~ can be removed at any time, no reason needed. and we’ll take it down as soon as we can. Keep in mind that search engines and the Internet Archive may have already copied it, which is outside our control.

  • Only residents of the Oak Hill community are permitted to post content to the site. (We operate on a trust-based system here, please be honest!)
  • Submissions are screened for inappropriate content.
  • Submissions are not reflective of the opinions of all Oak Hill residents or the moderators of this site.

So we can reach you with questions. We never publish this on the site.

Please only submit content if you live in Oak Hill or the surrounding area!
